Training Course – Open to ALL students

An official Wado Academy course is to be held at the Weydon School
Gymnasium, Weydon Lane, Farnham GU9 8UG on Sunday 2nd July 2017 from
10.30 – 12.15. Sensei Robert Howells MBE 6th Dan is to take the course
and all course fees are to be donated to Shiomitsu Sensei.

First Aid Course

Following the Academy course, a First Aid Course for Sports Instructors is to be run by the company, First Aid for Life, an approved Ofqual provider.

The course gives those who attend, a Qualsafe certification in: “Emergency First Aid for Sports”. This certificate is valid for three years. The course is to run from 13.00-16.00 and is aimed at Wado Academy club instructors and assistant instructors. However, if places are available after being allocated to this group, then other Wado Academy members who applied for a place will be invited to attend.

There are 14 places on the First Aid course and these places will be allocated on a first come first served basis.

This will be held at Potter Gate School, Farnham. GU9 7BB, which is a two minute drive from the training course venue.

 

Costs

Academy Training Course – £10 per person all proceeds to be given to the Wado Academy.
Combined First Aid Course and Academy Training – £35 per person.
 

Contact

There is a requirement to inform the First Aid provider with the names of those who are attending this aspect of the day. Those individuals who wish to undertake the First Aid course are to contact Sensei Robert Howells by Tuesday 20th June 2017. There will be a requirement to pay the First Aid course fee (£35) by 20th June 2017 to guarantee a place on this course.
