Good to see some of you on Facebook. There is a Wado Academy group if you want to join. Nothing to do with me though.

August 7th to the 10th, 2008 will be the Summer Course (Gashuku) in Orlando, Florida, US of A. This is gearing up to be a very special event with Shiomitsu Sensei in attendance but also Osaka Sensei and other instructors/groups from the Renmei family.

Being in Orlando and that time of the year will make for a hot and sunny holiday for the likes of us Europeans. Take advantage of the free afternoons to visit the surrounding attractions.

Me and Angela are looking into flights to take in Orlando and then New York afterwards, which virtually costs the same for the flight. Book soon as the exchange rate may not stay as good as it has been for people on this side of the pond.

Free drinks at the hotel, well during our happy hour! Need I say more.

I do have the results but am waiting on an electronic copy so I can put them onto the web site.

Congratulations to the medal winners. Good to see new names on there. 

The Wado Academy national championships are this weekend.

Unfortunately I will be away in France but I hope everyone has a good competition. 

Kazutaka Ohtsuka Sensei mentioned about some videos on youtube and said to look up "jujutsu duo". Not sure why yet, whether it was for entertainment value or to see a different form of 'competition'.
