On the Winter Course Shiomitsu Sensei wrote down Ohtsuka Sensei's poem, Wa Ten Chi Jin no Ri Do, on the white board at one point. I thought it would be useful to give a couple of links for those that would like a recap or further information. Reg Kear is one of the most senior British Wadoka, under WIKF, who now resides in Australia. The article by Reg (http://www.sannoya.com/tenchijin.htm) and other excellent ones can be found on www.sannoya.com web site. Another article I found was on the Wado Ryu Australia web site. This article also includes photographs of Shiomitsu Sensei demonstrating with Arthur Meek so worth a peek. There is also an article on the Wado Ryu Renmei web site of course. |

The UK government is considering a ban on swords in the UK, which will obviously impact all those that practice Japanese Iaido, Batto Jutsu and so on. The Prime Minister's office have an online petition that you can fill to show support and ask the government to reconsider. If applicable to you, please take a few minutes to complete the Sword Petition . |
