Bournemouth Wado Ryu karate club must be the youngest and smallest club within the Wado Academy. It was started in October 2001 but has always had a small number of people training. On occasions the number attending has been two, and that includes the instructor!

Wow, I can't believe it has been over 5 years. Gordon Fong used to live and train in the North East, firstly under Frank Miller and then with Peter Edwards and Cliff Richmond before moving down to Bournemouth due to work. After a small break from training he managed to get back to the fold and restart his Wado Ryu training. It then made sense to start off a club to carry on that momentum.
